Axe Body Spray Commercial:

The Axe Commercial implies that using their product will attract a great amount of young, beautiful women to men that use it. The commercial features athletic, attractive women roughly 20-25 years old and who are white with the exception of one African American woman and one Asian woman. The sole man in the commercial is a white man, also in very good shape, applying Axe all over himself. The male audience of this commercial might get the impression that in order to be successful with women, one must use the body spray. For women, this commercial one might get the impression that only young white woman are attractive, which is a racist and unfair way to advertise a product.

H&M Close the Loop Commercial:

The H&M Commercial shows different people wearing many different kinds of fashion. It shows people of all races, colors, religions, sexes, and social groups as well as many unique styles of fashion in locations across the globe like Tokyo and San Francisco. The commercial sends out the message that no matter your race, sex, skin color, religion, or part of society you belong, you should be free to wear whatever you want (that is legal) and you shouldn't be judged for it, giving a positive impact on viewers.
